Meet Our Team

Your family deserves to work with a team that really cares about your long-term success. That’s why we’ve built a diverse and experienced team to serve California’s Inland Empire families. We have experience in homes, schools, and clinics. Our team believes in designing programming that fits your family, your needs, and your desired long-term plans.

This keyhole represents how our company unlocks the tools to help get you where you want to go. Each color surrounding the logo represents a unique hue on the neurodivergent spectrum - every ability is represented. We are “beyond diverse”!

Our Founder

LaKeysha Cobbs-Hayes MA, BCBA, has spent her entire career taking care of others.

Beginning in high school, LaKeysha worked at childcare centers. When presented with the opportunity to work with children with disabilities, she eagerly took on the new challenge and discovered a personal passion for the work. She later earned degrees in Communication Disorders and Special Education and her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

LaKeysha founded Key Essentials Behavior Management in 2017 to support more families with ABA services. She believes in designing programs that are individualized to each family’s needs. LaKeysha and the rest of the Key Essentials team apply evidence-based practices that work in real-world settings.

I am passionate about seeing behaviors change for the better, and I love seeing families flourish. More than anything else, I enjoy watching the people on my team learn and grow, using the skills they gain from Key Essentials to succeed in every step of their lives.
